I sat just in front of Kevin's wife and his daughter tonight who were right next to our Coterie Group. To see their emotions at the start of the game made me think that we just might be in for a fairy tale.....!! But I have to say, I was embarassed for both James and Kevin tonight that their team "mates" could put in such an inciped, lack lustre, lethargic and cowardly performance tonight! I thnk it is time to say goodbye to a number of players at the end of the season.

At the end of the game, the magnitude of our performance hit home watching the tears stream down the face of Geraldine and her daughters....It is really time for soul searching at the club and it's time to find some players who have both the ability and the passion/competitive spirit to play for the club.

To see Hirdy come out on to the ground about 1/2 an hr after the game had finished with his wife and kids showed how much of a champion person he is as well. For him and for Kevin, this was an awful performance and for me, one of the saddest times at the club. How the team could play like they did with what was at stake is beyond words! and to hear Hirdy on SEN afterwards saying that he genuinely thought that we would win and go over to subi and win and get into the finals just guts me for how disappointed/disgusted the bloke must be...

By the look of the Herald Sun today it wouldn't of been the performance they were crying about, they were crying because the MCG had sold out of Meat Pies
