On the Friday said the Haw vs Ess game was irrelevant as they have no chance the next week. Last time I checked 8th has a good record against 5th -nver mind the fact the Hawks and Dons have it all over the Blues (had they won).

During Sunday (esp) the dogs pies game mentioned whoever makes 4th will play Adelaide in week two as if this was already set in stone.

This little flog must be a soothsayer because he has already called the result of a match before we even knew who would be in it.

Another journo to believe their own schite doesn't stink.

I can stomach Wallsy baggin teams but this scrawny looking Pind!k has no excuses. He should just call the game rather than imparting his wisdom (which is surely limited) on us all.

This bloke is without a doubt, one of the best in the business.

Very professional and always makes intelligent comments, whether it be about AFL, Horse Racing or Cricket (or any other sports he has a vast knowledge on).

I think your thread is just a sour grapes call, all because he made a negative comment about your team, albeit one that will more than likely eventuate anyway. You honestly think the Bombers will knock off the Crows at home after struggling against an undermaned Hawthorn outfit?

Who gives a toss what he thinks mate, take it for what it is... an opinion. People need to stop listening to the media and journos who think they know alot when they know very little. Finals are a different ball game, it doesnt matter what happened during the yr anything can happen. As long as you believe that than it doesnt matter what gerard whateley thinks.

Actually when you are commentating you have a responsibility to tell the facts. If he said the loser will likely play the crows I have no issue. He stated several times that the crows will be playing the loser of 1 vs 4. That is not an opinion but an incorrect statement by someone who wants to be apart of the game rather than just calling it.

Perhaps he should go and umpire, I'm sure him and razor ray would really get along well.
