the assistants have prescribed roles to study and get players thinking and playing better. forget the injuries, everyone has them, but what has thier impact been? backline? ffs? what is our kick out plans? why do we give the ball up so easily? why do we give it to guys who cannot kick (prescribed kickers)? I could go on and on. We have a set of ass coaches who have not improved our game plan or skill dept and thinking. I could go on and on. we need to have some quality people in there who can teach and get the message across in game improvement, that is a key indicator.....

That's exactly what Alex Rance was thinking when he pulled up a chair next to assistant coach Wayne Campbell during the week, particularly given he knew Goodes had put on a clinic against Essendon even though his missed shot on the siren had cost the Swans victory............

Instead he found Campbell upbeat about the challenge ahead...........

Campbell is clearly a genius because Rance played one of the best games of his career, limiting Goodes to just one goal and collecting an impressive 24 possessions in the process.

Whats happened to Waters from Collingwood, apparently we were heavily into him a few months ago, seems to have gone a bit quiet on him. Either of those two would make me happy but not completely sold on Neil Craig.
