Courier makes a boring sport watchable. He was fantastic during the Hewitt game - his honesty was so refreshing.

Another vote from me for Courier. He makes listening to the game enjoyable. JA on the other hand is a n00b of the highest order. Absolute tool, would have to rate as the most boring and unemotional commentator of all. How would he go commentating footy? Oh god.

Simon Hill is still the best straight man in the country, with Mark "Smashing Baby" Nicholas not far behind.
Simon is a trained journalist and why a commerical network hasn't snapped him up is beyond me.
Poms are the best commentators in the world ie Martin Tyler, Phil Liggett, Jonathon Agnew and before him Sir H Blofeld (remeber for all intents and purposes (and Michael Voss if you're reading this "intensive purposes") Tony Greig is South African. As a radio friend of mine from the UK said, sport is not the be all and end all for the Brits and they commentate that way.
John Barrett used to be good...he hasn't retained his marbles as well as Sir R Benaud has.

Disagree totally with ya. There are other ways to listen and watch the tennis. You can have the radio going on 774 late at night and hear it or you can put up and shut up with the american commentators.
