I hope I'm way wrong but having Plan B is always an advantage. so if we only say win 2 games(going on current form who know where the first win is coming from?) that's 6 wins in two yrs can we go groveling for a priority Pick?

We can and the AFL will tell us to go and get ****ed. We aren't getting jack from the AFL.

Didn't the lions get their priority pick at start of RD 2 in 2016 draft for two poor seasons ie 2015&2016?

Seriously? It's not time for this kind of thread. We were in a grand final 4 years ago, played a prelim 2 years ago, and we still have the best player in the comp playing for us. Our last couple of years drafting has actually been good and gotten us some best 22 players. This is like Hawthorn asking for one because they lost Sam Mitchell and have lost 2 games in a row.

It is with great disgust and no small amusement that I find myself siding with Reginald Perrin on this one.

Holy crap, I never thought of that.

Honest answer says the AFL owe us a fair few as a response to 20 years of neglecting us.

Let's not forget we were set up to win 0-1 game in 1995 and the AFL at the time repeated this regularly to us.

Let's also not forget the indictment that we paid money for the Bulldogs to be premiers last year under the guise of equalisation.

Let's finally not forget that in 2016 we received the second lowest amount of money from the AFL. Hell, teams that are richer (Eagles, Pies, Hawks) received more than us.

They owe us substantially but they won't give us one as that would mean they'd have to help us and we know they won't do that.
