Getting Banned...

Notice that Vealsey got banned. Got me thinking... 10,000+ posts. a "long" bigfooty career. and now its done. What happens next for the Manilla Playa's of the world? Does the Bigfooty brain know when the same IP starts a new account? Is a ban really a ban? Does anyone genuinely miss any posters who have been banned?

I like vealesy. He posted plenty of bait, but he did it tongue in cheek most of the time.

Prefer him to people who genuinely believe some of the rubbish they post.

think its just a ban. not a permaban, but it got me thinking about people who get permabanned... Sorry, should have been more clear.

I personally like guys like vealesy and bunsen burner. You need a bit of diversity in a forum otherwise it's just full of boring/vanilla types. I think it's also lame how some posters were celebrating vealesy getting banned in the other thread. If they bother you then put them on Ignore and move on.

No, vealesy is gone for rather longer unfortunately. Sometimes there's a price to pay when you keep posting deliberately distasteful things- despite repeated warnings.
