I bought a pair of headphones a couple of years ago but the sound has stopped working out of the right side.

I'm not sure if it's a problem with the cable or the actual speakers, but has anyone know where I can take them to get them fixed? It could be just a really minor issue it's just that I have no idea how to solder wires together (and don't really plan on learning either).

Cheers

Yeah they only lasted less than 18 months though, they've been sitting around for about a year.

They cost about $200 so if I can get them fixed for about 50 I'd be doing alright

I take it the manufacturer warranty has run out?

If they failed within the warranty period I'd start off with an email to the distributor/manufacturer. Check with Consumer Affairs Victoria regarding warranty, I believe that products are still covered beyond the stated warranty. Some sort of statutory warranty thing.

You could do what I did once, I bought an expensive pair of earphones that I blew up, I went and bought them again, put the old ones in the new packet and took them back for a refund.
