This team is reminiscent of my junior soccer team, where we used to dismantle opposition to the tune of 10-0 weekly drubbings without breaking a sweat. They were completely out of their depth. Our defenders used to pick daisies. Opposition coach used to rest his best players against us because they had already conceded defeat.
Ambitions at rival clubs have no longer become the premiership in the AFL. It's just to make the Grand Final. They know they can't win the flag. There's only one premiership window. We have slammed it shut, and now we're just taunting the league from the other side of the glass. We are about to take over the AFL for a long time, get used to it.
