- combo of short-sightedness and astigmatism in my left eye, and my right's not much better. I didn't get glasses til I was 7 though cos the community nurse who was testing every student in my school each year for eyesight and hearing probs swore i was "within the acceptable range" despite not being able to see the blackboard.
