Yes, but the pitch I saw looked nothing like that. ;)

But in all seriousness McGrath did look second rate today. There was none of his usual patience that we've become so accustomed too. He certainly didn't respond well to the Bangladeshis' temerity to play their shots. And he was straying far too much down leg in the morning session.

I don't think McGrath's recent efforts to add swing to his bowling is a good move - it hurts what is his greatest strength; his consistent line and length.

His outswingers mean the batsmen have to play at less deliveries, and McGrath is unable to build the pressure on them by bowling at a nagging line and length just outside off stump.

I know one should always be developing one's game but this is a classic example of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

And a few more performances like that from McGrath and he won't be the new ball bowler anymore.

Leave Glenn alone.

He's wife is ill with cancer and all you can do is give it to him. You are all losers.

He hasn't been playing well lately.

I think he only picked 3 wickets in the whole series against Bangladesh which isn't good enough. Macgill and Gillespie bowled a lot better then him. Macgill got over 20 wickets in the series and Gillespie would have got over 10. Lee didn't bowl well either.

Listen Suzi if you play a sport at an elite level and have got away with as much as McGrath has over the years then he has to accept it. The guy is past it and should consider spending next winter at home with the kids and retiring.
