The Titans lose to the mighty Taipans for the second time this season. That improves Cairns away record to 4-24 since their inception. Their first win in either Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth. Well done Titans!!!

The champion (actually I shouldn't be allowed to use that term in terms of Victoria) Titans lose again to Cairns, this time at home... could it be that the championship may, once again, not be bound for Brian Goorjian's house?? How could the most-winningest coach in NBL history lead his team to two defeats in the one season to the Taipans?? I mean, one loss was understandable, but two?? Oh how the mighty have fallen.....(and they weren't even that mighty to begin with)

i wouldnt say we were famous for f*cking up... we have to get there first to f*ck up...
last year was the first time in like 5-6 yrs we made the playoffs...
so... we havent really been there to f*ck up or choke (a la titans)..

its just been a case of having some v.good players over the years, good coaches, alotta money, the best stadiums, the biggest market.. yet failing to deliver for soooo many years...

I didn't mean **** up in the playoffs. I meant in general, the Kings every year are meant to be the big thing. Every year some moron tips them for the flag (normally Tim Webster). The fact is they generally disappoint, and all I am saying is they may do it again

****...lost to the Tigers after been up by 9 at half time and now we have the Kings...were 1 - 6 for christs sake!

Count us out of Playoff action this year, im a die hard Wildcats supporter but even with Harvey back we would need to win a whole lotta games to make it from here..

ant my good mate ..... heres my explanation ....... for the last couple of seasons we have dominated early only to stumble at the last hurdle ....... this season Goorj is warming us up for a fast finish, DMac will reignite, Jason Smith will be back in January, Mosley will get dumped for a real import , we are on our way Mr Ant, hes a crafty devil that Goorj isnt he, takes all the heat off us, leads you guys into a false sense of security, then STRIKES ...

Seriously though, until we find a consistent scoring threat to cover for Smithy we are in trouble

I tell you what BUBBA, you make some sense there, rather than burn out at the end, the Titans are obviously just warming up, ready to hit form at the right time of the season. I'm glad Goorjian finally worked out (after all those losing GF's and fruitless seasons) just the correct way to play it. I've got to give the man credit.

I reckon you may just get your season back on track this week, because after playing the Hawks the previous night, the Sixers come to town Saturday night, and the last time we played a double header we lost the second game by 18. I'll be looking forward to the game and I'll be watching it on FOX.

now the CANNONS... they have been plugging away for a few years and looked almost extinct but thanks to local support and the business and most of all their basketball community they are still about... So if the Hawks dont go back to back then I think the CANNONS should get it... (just forget about the wins and the losses and who is in and who is out)

No Thanks. We want to earn it. It will be more enjoyable and then Cal can stick it up Goorjian's butt. Cal should have been National Coach, just as Graffie should be the Women's National Coach.
