Golden Tee Golf

Hi all,

Me and my mates used to love playing Golden Tee over a few beers at the pub. Back then (around 2005 from memory) there used to be machines at quite a few pubs, but googling it now it doesn't lead me to believe this is still the case. I know for a fact the pubs I go to these days (in Eastern Suburbs melbourne) definitely do not have a Golden Tee machine.

Does anyone know if there's a machine still in operation in Melbourne?

Is that the one with the roll ball on it that you rolled back then forward to hit a shot? Was it a split game that you could pick golf or ten pin bowling? I reckon the Hampton Park Tavern had it last time I was there but I cant remember.

It's the one with the trackball, yes. They did have a bowling game but I never saw them on the same box though, although I'm sure it's possible they could be combined.

Hampton Park you say...that's a bit of a hike but it might be worth it for the nostalgia.

No guarantees it's still there mind you. There definitely was one in the sports bar there. I remember they now have buck Hunter, but can't remember if the golf one is still next to it.
