Not up to scratch fitness wise and form wise too. Needs a few more weeks in the Magoos before he has any realy chance of making an impact for the seniors. I'd be very surprised if he makes the cut.

It's kind of official that he's in the VFL this week. The right decision I feel. It's better for him to have a few extra matches in the VFL and as such be in a lot better form than he is now before playing AFL.

Portentous, do you still wish him the best or was that conditional on his AFL selection?

I still wish him the best. Hope he gets an AFL game soon though. I'm sure he'd rather be playing AFL than VFL.
