I think it will be a close game, and I think the crows will get up, unfortunately :(

Hoping im wrong.

But good luck, and enjoy the game.

Cheers mate, good luck to you guys too (fingers crossed behind my back :p)

Drizt, Great username too mate :thumbsu:

Have enormous respect for Adelaide. They don't bottom out, just like Collingwood. These 2 clubs have been introducing youngsters consistently and making finals while they do it. Whoever wins, hopefully goes on to win the flag.

St Kilda are a joke of a football club, 26 wooden spoons and now cashing in on their early draft picks. Bulldogs are of similar ilk. Geelong are a good club but have had their turn.

Which leaves these 2 powerhouse clubs. I still think our medium sized forwards can do the job for us, although it will be a tight battle.

The forecast has been changed and they are expecting a thundery shower now, although it reached 30 degrees today and it's very windy. Off to the G soon together with the 65,000 strong Magpie Army. Can't wait!

I am not nervous at all but I never am until the teams walk out on to the ground then I become an absolute mess. A few pre-match beers and a chat about anything but footy with mates takes my mind off the game but I can't wait. It will be a beauty.

Really hope we put our best foot forward tonight. There has been a lot of disappointment throughout the decade so it would be nice to finish on a high.

Collingwood isn't really that high on my dislike list, got a lot of respect for the work they've done to establish themselves as the dominant club in Victoria, and for the hard-nosed brand of footy they've been playing over the years. Malthouse is an astute coach and I think as a Collingwood supporter you must really appreciate the way they have gotten the most out of themselves throughout the 2000s - pushing a supremely talented Brisbane outfit to the brink in 2002 and making the GF again in 2003, while very nearly knocking off the strongest Geelong side ever fielded in the 2007 prelim. I feel the Crows owe your lot one this time and tonight represents a huge opportunity for the AFC to get its finals reputation back on track. The best footy for both of these current groups will come beyond this season in any event.

Well I'm thinking the other way around. I'm prepared for a close see sawing battle and we don't win too many close games.

We've had a few close wins over the Pies in recent years but that dosen't mean a thing tonight. Its anyone's game.

Good luck to you too. It happens before every game, the butterflies are building up and ready to explode when the first bounce has thumped the ground.

Oh and a few nights ago I had a dream that we made the Grand Final against St. Kilda and lost by two points, 125 to 123, Jason Porplyzia kicked 7 goals. We were winning by 30 points at half time I think. :(

Totally Agree!

Well said amer, the highlighted passage particularly rings true.

Last week was great but a win tonight would seriously add some credibility to our club and Neil Craig's reputation.

42 minutes... so many emotions :cool::p:D:rolleyes::(:)
