Good luck for Saturday night, I hope we can front up and give you a real contest. You certainly go in as favourites, the toughest fittest evenest side around ATM. It'll be a chance for us to measure ourselves against the top team.

I give us a chance, because we have struck a bit of form, and we have a good record against you and over there too. We've had a bit of controversy to pull the boys together (yes I'm trying to put a positive spin on a drunken brawl and no I'm not convincing myself) so hopefully we'll be focussed on the task. What is true is its easier being the hunter, looking to knock off the top side, than to front up to a contender trying to score some credibility with a big scalp every damn week. the thing is sides keep setting themselves up and you keep knocking 'em down.

Last time you gave us a footy lesson. Our lovely running play in the first quarter was obliterated by smart hard footy on your part: people may criticise the "Crowbots" for slowing sides down, but bad sides try it against us and get thumped so it proves your'e a good side. That last quarter was hard for me to watch: Biglands and Roo exemplified the mental and physical edge you built over us, one contest at a time.

You shouldn't worry about the loss the the Eagles any more than we should revel too much in besting them a fortnight ago: they are an intermittently brilliant mob, especially in Perth. They're far less consistent than you are but capable of untouchable footy on their day.

A loss is never a good thing, but a proper coach like Craig is unlikely to let any lessons go unlearnt. No doubt they'll be stinging just enough to seek controlled revenge.

I'm hoping for a bloody good hard game. We don't have the brilliance to blitz you but I hope we can find the teamwork and run to at least make a game of it.

Definitely looking forward to the game. Always a good occassion at AAMI as there are a lot more opposition fans in the crowd when Collingwood are playing, much better atmosphere. There would have been 25 Kangaroos fans there a fortnight ago.

Despite all the science, the old adage 'take the crowd out of the game in the first quarter' still rings true when playing interstate. If the Pies can be round the mark at quarter time I give them a good chance.

Our form has been down for three weeks. We struggled to get over the Hawks and Roos for three quarters and obviously last week was terrible. Hope we can turn things around.

Anyone can post in our forum. If you're going to be critical, complimentary or otherwise, back it up with some logic and dont troll. We can handle that :)

Not sure about being the hunter is easier. When you think about it, its a stupid phrase that doesnt make much sense. "We're worse than you, but its easier that way".

We will be looking to atone for our embarassing effort last year over there

You will be looking to atone for your poor effort last week

Might be a closer game than I thought it would be a few weeks ago

I think our forward line will operate better this time with the bigger ground than in Rd 1

That said our backline has been leaking goals in past months so that balances things out

Will be happy if we can get within 3 goals or so

Good luck
