Interesting to read in today's paper that The Ox is considering his position at Melbourne and he has had offers from other club's. So much for losing the passion to play. If he decides to go after what Melbourne has done for him, he should never show his face again.

Is this another bull**** rumour some idiot is trying to start?
There is no bloody way Oxy will ever leave Melbourne for another club, besides he is too old and injured (well not now but used to be) for any club to give him enough money for him to want to move. Still there is NO WAY Oxy is going anywhere but retierment!

Read the article in today's Sun. Seemed pretty sure to me.

The fact that the article starts by stating that: "MELBOURNE'S vice captain David Schwarz is considering his options for 2002.", already tells me there is something seriously wrong with it!
Besides just coz they show interest doesn't mean he'll show any back!

with the fact that Neale isnt overly rapt by Oxy' "big mouth" and doesnt like the attention he draws (ie the ben graham brewha). mixed with the fact, he is trying to curb David's playing style, but he doesnt do it with Wiz. Also neale isnt that keen on him staying on anyway. His contract is up, and Carlton has already shown interst in him, AND HE IS looking at other offers.

This all mixed with the fact that some teammates arent that impressed with his attitude and that (ignoring him on field. rd17 was a clear example), kinda makes for an unhappy ending to all this.........

Oh well....... he still has a couple of years to go i think, AND he said when he got to 100 games, that 200 games was his ultimate goal. So if a club was going to give him a 2 year deal, and melbourne werent going to offer him anything (like it is apparently going to happen this way) Why wouldnt he take it ???

nah, even after reading all that, i don't recon he'll leave melbourne. he might leave footy all together, but if he does stay on, i don't think he'll leave melbourne.

GO DEES!!!

I don't think he'll go to Carlton... i mean come on he hates them! He always picks fights with them and i don't think he respects them, nor do their supporters respect Oxy. Also i don't think he will do a Tingay and move to Sydney.
My gut feeling tells me he won't go anywhere and that the coaching staff and chairman of selectors will do anything they can to keep this club hero.

What's wrong with this club.....

One can never ruffle any feathers at all. You can't do this, you can't do that......I feel sorry for the Ox.....
This club is so conservative ... its no wonder we have had no success.
I've just about had enough of them!!
Not a happy Jan:mad:

Cheers everyone.
