Enjoyed the Joker introduction. He seemed alright at first but then he took a wicked turn. Felt sorry for Barbara when she returned and discovered what she did, and Fish Mooney really asserted her authority and isn't a bad negotiator.

I hope that wasn't the Joker. I prefer him either without an origin story or with the story from The Killing Joke, which means he doesn't really 'break bad' until Batman is around anyway.

I actually enjoyed Fish Mooney this episode, is this real life?

I thought The Joker was really great. Real creepy and was very impressed from a kid that looked pretty young.

I hope we see more of him.

I've always enjoyed Fish Mooney, even though others haven't.

Barbara didn't seem that bad when she wasn't intoxicated, or whining, or having sex with an FBI agent.

Definitely prefer her over the Medical Examiner.

Oh, and how the hell did the show make her so annoying as well?

Pretty sure I read before the series started the creators saying they would tease a bunch of jokers but prob wouldn't reveal him until later and definitely not in season 1

the beauty of the joker character is that he blames batman for everything that's why he is so intent on killing the bat

that's also why the killing joke storyline is so great showing that joker was a normal dude until one bad day and batman later.

and besides that giving the Joker a backstory as a circus nutter is so cliche

It wasn't just the laugh but the tone of his voice etc not to mention he was pissed at his mum for nagging him to do the dishes while she was in the next room ****ing the clowns.

If he's not the Joker then it's a massive (and probably stupid considering how blatant they tried to make it) swerve.

I agree, we probably won't see the full Riddler etc either, it seems it's more an "origins" thing.

Here's the interrogation scene for those interested. The lad gave a very good performance. As a fan of the original Batman the animated series, especially Mark Hamill, l really enjoyed the acting in Gotham in that particular scene.

I thought he was pretty top notch, for a TV Joker.

I'd be pretty disappointed if they didn't run with him, and like all the others, this is probably just a young Joker.

If he was the Joker then I think they have crammed too many villains/future villains into one season. Have to leave us wanting more.

A variant of Bane's venom was in an episode too, but I like how they left that and will presumably elaborate on it in a future season.
