Here's the kicker:
GPU boost 2.0
1. Temperature based overboost. To simplify (mainly because I CBF typing) this card will continue to overclock until a customer determined safe temperature ceiling limit.
2. Monitor overclocking. Nvidia is aiming this directly at the LG based 27" 2560x1440 & 30" 2560x1600 Korean IPS panels found on Ebay. These monitors are native 60Hz screens but have beefy PCBs that can allow are very large increase in performance, 100-120Hz being a common result.
Pretty sweet sounding tech and hoping that GPU boost 2.0 finds it way onto the next generation GTX-7xx GPUs...
