He seems to have slipped under the guard, as the Perth boys were not allowed to play in the Under 18 Championships and may go a lot earlier than expected. West Coast would fancy him but may target tall forwards after that is the area where they struggled in the GF. Any thoughts?

I have huge raps on the kid, is one guy in the draft that we know will play for the jumper.

Yeah, apparently he's an absolutely massive Collingwood fan...
I guess that's way he's got Brisbane listed in his AIS profile!

If you look at all the profiles, each kid has two clubs listed, with Collingwood being one of the teams selected by Grae.

Perhaps they were asked which two clubs would you prefer to play for?

I have a feeling he wont fall past our last pick at 34. He may also be incontention at 29.

Despite needing talls, the club will stick to its policy of taking the best available. Tall or small. Anyway, we have enough young talls, we dont need another mediocre one from pick 29 or 34. Pick 13 we might go tall.

i actually know him and for a fact that he is a pies man. last time i spoke to him re this though he said he would prefer to remain in wa. great kid but with his knee injury and lack of form leading to omission from state 18s has prob slipped from high picks with most recruiters to bargain around mid 20s imo

Having said that, in recruiting I doubt any club gives serious consideration to the club barracked for...

I think collingwood has been burned many a time by ppl not wanting to play for the jumper and then losing those individuals for next to nothing davis and cole spring to mind. I think we should definetly take that into consideration because you know he wont jump ship if his heart in the right place
