With a lot of the top sides beginning to look very similar, the difference between premiership glory or ridicule at the end of season BBQ can well rest on who we give the big (C) in this weekends match!
I havent done much research on the facts & figures as yet but for me its a flip of the coin between the man who has done the job for the last 3 weeks in Pavlich or go for Riewoldt who should destroy the Tiges.
Assuming for the moment that Bartel is out, who are we all going to choose?

Bartel reckons he'll be back. I hope he says this, and then has a shocker (I got rid of him, opponent kept him). I would think Kornes will figure prominently, as will Reiwoldt.

From a tactical point of view, do you try and have the same captain as your opponent, or go with one they don't have?

Dane Swan for me probably, dominates Adelaide

Had swan as captain wen he scored 60 odd a couple weeks back, so not doing that again.

Between Pav and Reiwoldt.

Leaning towards Nikko atm.

But I havent looked at the weather conditions yet.

If your considering Pav take into account that Port has shut down Mooney, Franklin and Fev in the last 3 weeks.

I would prob go Riewoldt if I had him (which I don't)

I am probably going to go Goodwin. Find midfielders are safer than forwards as captain (however both times I have gone Goodwin this year he has let me down)

My other option would be to stick with C.Cornes

Is Chad Cornes due for a big one. Started on fire the past 2 weeks in a row, but poor 2nd halfs. Would have had a much bigger one this week if it was not for 6 clangers.

I think I'll stick with Goodes after last weekend - but Riewoldt, Cornes and Bowden are also options I'm considering.

Riewoldt or Sam Mitchell

Hodge will get a tag this week from sydney, leaving Mitchell to dominate the middle, he is so in and under he is hard to tag.

I'm thinking of C Cornes, but am also seriously considering Pav...he generally likes playing in Adelaide, Port are a key defender down, and there's the chance he may get ridiculous supply as his team tries to will him to the Coleman!

Also Cox versus Essendon at Subi is tempting.

Didn't Sewell do a real good job of shutting him down earlier this year?

Nah Goodesy beat him. I remember the little running hot symbol next to his name saying that he beat sewell and got sydney back into the game. Had 20 touches took 7 marks or something like that.

I see what you`re thinking but I just try to pick the player from my 22 who I think will score the most. Pav firming up now that I hear Wakelin is out
