Should be a ripping day out at Gembrook you would crazy to miss it!!!

Unders
Seville by 40
Too strong. Have had a great year, only dropping 1 game when they had their best 3 players out. With Bully O'Donnel committing to play with his mates rather than the 1s they are virtually unbeatable. Yea have a few guns but Seville have more. Will be hungry after last years GF loss...

Oddonel to win best on.

Ressies

Seville by 40
How could you tip against them? Undefeated all year and havent had a side get with 5 goals. Seville have rolled Belgrave by close to 100 points 3 times already but i dont think it will be that easy this time around. Seville's players with years of 1s footy in them the likes of James, Walsh, Paisely, Costigan, Clarke, Adams, Wells and Leary not to mention their young kids on the fringe of Seinor selection will be too much for a side that will be run of their feet by half time.

Escourt to win Best on.

Seniors
Seville by 1
Wouldn't tip against my home club in a grand final but no doubt they are up against it. Emeralds top 6 or 7 are fantastic. They have a great running game, and link up beautifully out of the backline. If the blues are gonna steal this one their midfield is going to have to have a blinder and push back a lot better than they did last time these to teams met. Seville is at full strength (maybe a few niggles!), and im hoping a win from the 18s and 2s will be enough to get them up and about. Look out for a huge game from the Seville veterans Seinor, Troyan and Aikens who I wouldnt be surprised if they hung up the boots after this year. Jones needs to shake of his shoulder problem and kick a big bag if the Blues are to win.

Senior to win best on.

Love to hear everyones tips, hopefully not as bias as mine!

Unders - Seville by 35

Reserves - Seville by 20, i don't think this game will be as easy for seville as it has been the last time these 2 teams met.

Seniors - Emerald by plenty. Its going to be another smashing, that seville probably deserve, they're too cocky, too arrogant and way overrated

Not bias at all wellconnected ;) Good to see you flying the flag for your club though.

Unders:
Seville too strong

Reserves:
Seville. Agree with well connected, experience goes a long way in Grand Finals. Especially in the 2s.

Seniors:
Emerald. Saw them 2 weeks ago, could not tip against them.

U18's - Seville,
Ressies - Seville,
Seniors - Emerald but very tight game
Looking at the forecast whoever is leading & which way you are kicking you might want to get a lead up early as I can see the wind playing a factor late in the day..... Hopefully not

Emerald in a canter. Couldn't be a worse weather forecast for Seville. As predicted a month or two ago that Emerald will be to quick on the big ground.

Predictions
Emerald by 7 goals
Wind around 5 goals

OMG. HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII! It's all coming to climax...and so is the season. My tips have been a little shaky of late...lol jks...I think I've got one wrong all year. I'm a freak. I'll try to make this short and to the point, unlike Tom Brady at Presentation Night for those who were there.

BallNet.
Yet again, Punchy have all 3 teams in Grand Finals, on the back of winning all 3 flags last year, credit where credits due, great effort. They're probably harder at it than their football teams as well. But I reckon they'll walk home with the one trophy this year

C Grade
YAY! have been dominant all year, and would be still reeling from losing the Granny last year to Punchy, which should be enough to get them over the line here.

B Grade
Punchy look like the season's been a cakewalk for them. This match should be a cracker with leading goal shooter in Del Marco (564 goals) at one end and Hadjer (League B&F) at the other. Think Punchy will have the goods.

A Grade
Emerald are looking one of the closest things to a certainty I've seen. Coller (league B&F), Whiteroad (4th League B&F, League top goal shooter), they've beaten Punchy 3 times this year, 2 weeks ago in the Semi final they saluted by 17. Give them the trophy now.

Under 18's
Seville look like morals. If O'Donnell plays, they become close to unbeatable. They have been the form team all season, and if Nash is over his shoulder dislocation and fires, LOOK OUT YAY!. YAY! have some super skilled players, and some bloody GIANTS, but I just believe that Seville's best are better than YAY!'s best, and Seville's worst are better than YAY!'s worst. Seville by 72.
Mitch O'Donnell BOG

Reverse (Haha, get it? VERY humorous)
Seville's 2's Vs a very Seniors based Hellgrave. With both Longy (Seville) and Ozzy (Hellgrave) lining up in the centre, there will be sparks, there will be blood, and there will be hopefully something for the Peanut Gallery to cheer and yell at. Seville's magoo's look better than YAY!, Kingjoke and Hellgrave's seniors, so should salute comfortably here (That;ll make you happy Uncle Chip, given how accurate my tips ALWAYS are.) Seville by 47.

Finally the 2 best teams in the Divvy this year meet in the match that means EVERYTHING to both clubs. I think everyone knew from about Round 6 that these 2 would be fighting it out for the flag. Alot has been said of Emeralds big win last time out, and deservedly so. Their speed, ball movement, pin-point daisy cutters and attack on the football this season has been delightful to watch, a very UN-Div 2 style of play. Seville aren't too far behind in that division either, what they lack in their movement, they make up for in their in-and-under type stuff. Holly has been praying for rain for the last 2 weeks, but I feel it may arrive a touch too late for him. A wet game would dramtically even up this game, but let's not talk about "would's", instead lets talk about "will's".
Eckers (ankle) WILL play, Troyhan (Heel) WILL play, Eddy WILL play, Porter (Knee) WILL play. It WILL be the perfect day for footy (Hopefully the wind stays away, I know everyone talks about it, and I'm not having a stab, I just want even conditions to watch a cracker of a game, and I don't want the wind to mess my hair up when I'm into my 20th pot). The last 2 times these teams have met, Taylor has sacrificed his game to match up with Jones, he is the preier run-and-carry player in this division, will he utilise his strengths? Or sacrifice himself? Where will Troyhan play? Filled in down back for Eddy on Bretherton last week, surely if Seville are to win, he MUST kick a bag. Who will tag Wright? O'Donnell (playing 18's?) tagged him @Seville and got 'pantsed', Aitken has been humiliated by him the last 2 meetings, I'll take a punt and say that Libba (League B&F winner) will line up next to him. Seville seem to have found their match up for Cox, and that will happen again. Eckers on Steer? Or will one of those twins with the Italian surname, suck him in again, alas the Semi final where Eckers got carded. Mather-Moore has kicked a minimum of 4 everytime they've met. Eddy and Hellregal will be a cracking match up between arguably the best CHF and CHB in the Divvy. Sorry wellconnected, I think Senior is well beyond it, has looked 10kg too big for his role all year, half the player he was last year. A surprise inclusion in many's eyes might be DJ Scotty Reece. A super quick and skilled guy, who might just be put in to counteract some of Emeralds pace. After all the hype he has been a little disappointing this year, and is leaving the club after this weekend. And Simpson hasn't been mentioned yet. How do you stop him? Seville tried getting physical with him last time and, well, I dunno how you stop a player of his calibre. The guy is a gun.
Oh look, I did a Tom Brady and went on and on and on and on and on and on on and on and on and on and on and on on and on and on and on and on and on on and on and on and on and on and on on and on and on and on and on and on on and on and on and on and on and on on and on and on and on and on and on on and on and on and on and on and on on and on and on and on and on and on on and on and on and on and on and on on and on and on and on and on and on . Now for the prediction. This game will be ALOT closer than many think, but I can't see a 100 point turnaround in 2 weeks from sore bodies, Emerald by 28.

Simpson BOG.

emerald by 10 goals. The toss will be important. looks a bit windy outside so gembrook will be terrible

BOG: Wright or Simpson

Congrats Bombers, terrific year. You have to admire a coach and a club that can go from Wooden Spooners to Premiers in 12 months. Looking forward to returning to play footy at Avonsleigh in 2012.

Well done to emerald. Last to first is a super effort. Makes for some great local Derbys next year with the brookers. I'm tipping both games will be played like a grand final. Hope the powers that be fixture it round 1.

Are you going to be the next Chad Cornes going to GWS? - your gunna call the Log Cabin your home so you can play at Avonsleigh:D

Caggs, you know as well as I do, that nothing "trickles" down Invermay Rd :D

I should also ask, anyone call it a day yesterday at your end ???

Watching the game, there should be a few hanging them up. It was a fast track though.

Another rumor at the dog track was that the winning side next week will need a few from the crowd to help carry off retiring victors... Either side... Hardly ground breaking news, but a changing of the guard perhaps in 2012. Tees to safely hold oldest player card?

Gembrook only has the one Oldtimer in Creeper. Who from Upwey would retire do you think???

Kidd will finish up.

Really? He told us he hadn't made any decisions yet. But seeing as you seem to be the font of all knowledge regarding all things related to Gembrook, I should bow to your greater knowledge.

I know of Mark Mullinder & Chris Mitchell only. But several are trying to talk them round. They are only pups maybe just 30. I think like yourself & others of similar age its a matter of getting through preseason & seeing if the fire is still in the belly & they are fit. Too early to make calls
