Is there any chance this series will ever come out on Xbox?
I mean its problaly the best game out there at the moment and I am just dieing to play it on my xbox.
If not then why arnt they buying a licence for this game or is there some kind of clone out there similar to this game.
 
Someone will probably make a bad clone of the game way before it comes to Xbox and buy that time something else will have come along and GTA will be forgot about. If you have the specs I'd say just get it for PC.

Obviously you haven't played the new one.

Its about 30 times better than the 1st one (GTA3). I've had it for about 2 weeks, and its nowhere near boring.

Yeah I got GTA - Vice City a few days ago, and I've been playing it non-stop since. Probably one of, if not the, best game I've ever played. It's just like GTA3 except bigger, and set in the 80's in a Miami-like city.

Amen to that.

Its somehow a great feeling beating up an old guy in the golf course with a golf club, and nicking off with his golf cart.

Also, carving someone up with a chainsaw is pretty fun.:D :D

No it's just that the last GTA game I played bored me after awhile. Vice City though sounds fantastic but Im not that bothered that it's not on XBox. I have MOH, Splinter Cell, NBA2K3 etc to keep me well and truly entertained!
 
Well I have the very first GTA and GTA London for PS1 before I got my Xbox I'd play them whenever I felt like a laugh. It's a cool game but the old ones do get boring really quick.

Jod exactly what do you own for Xbox? and sorry I didn't come around last night I feel asleep.

Ordered it on the 26th of November and I still have not got...my latest email which I sent just yesterday came back with this response.

"Hi Jonothan!

This title has been very hard to source since it's US release, we have had
your order on back order, awaiting restock through distribution.

We will let you know as soon as this title is ready for shipping out to you."

I have checked my online banking and they have already taken my ****ing money! Im now going to email them and see if they can just give me my money back. I can get it a lot quicker if I just email a friend of mine who lives in the states to buy it for me and send it over.

I doubt very much they will return my money though....stupid burn.com.au.

Honestly...how hard can NBA2K3 seriously be to get. It's only the biggest basketball game in the states for gods sake....

I don't mean to make you feel bad, but you should have made sure they had it in stock before you ordered it.

It will turn up eventually. And if they've taken the money out of your account, then you have nothing to worry about. You have the proof that they have billed you.

Burn are definately slack occasionally (remember NBA2k2? :) ) but they won't rip you off.

Yes, it's a pain in the arse that you have to wait, but that happens occasionally when you're buying imports.

They won't give you your money back, but you WILL get your game.

If you paid for it via a credit card just ring your bank and ask them to cancel the transaction due to non delivery of the goods..............
 
I just got GTA3: Vice City (I already have GTA3), and it bloody rules. Motorbikes! The `Faggio' moped! Tartan trousers! Katanas! Helicopters! Realistic body language in cinematics! `A DJ saved my life'! Golf carts! Its all good.

I found that too. Pretty clever (of sorts).

I'm actually 96% through the game, so I'm on the lookout for all that crazy extra stuff they throw into the game. Like they did for GTA3. I find it while I'm looking for the very last hidden package.:mad:

I was playing it at a mates house on the weekend and, yeah, it's bloody great.

There's something really fulfilling about killing golfers, stealing their golf cart, and then going on rampage through the streets on it. :D

P.S. Sabre, a game you might want to check out is Mafia. Sort of similar, and definitely coming to the X-Box.

CORRECTION - It WAS one of the best games I'd ever played until it decided it wouldn't read my memory card file any more! Halfway through the game I was too. Maybe this is a sign. That I should stop playing these games and go outside into the fresh open ... smoke.
