They say it's Stingray and I get the gig, he was stung by a Stingray while playing for the Stingrays in his previous team but to me it just didn't sound like a suitable nickname. One I would prefer calling him is Spock for obvious apparel reasons.

What do you think would be more suitable to call Jarrad Grant?

What about "stinger"?

I guess it's just me but I think a nickname that's stinger or stingray just doesn't sound right, just no way. For me it's impossible to explain but I honestly don't see myself shouting "STIIIINGER" when Grant marks or kicks a goal.

i played school footy with jarrad for a couple years before
he left and his nickname was golly. everyone called him it.
 
Cripes it would have to be Spock

The kid could step straight onto the flight deck of the Star Ship Enterprise with out touching his hair or touching up his ears, and instantly look the part.
