Where do I start... and to think that I was thinking before the game "no way we're going to pull this one off!!"

Seriously though, brilliant team effort by the lads. Whether it was Leo Barry keeping Fraser Gehrig quiet, Barry Hall doing what he does best with five goals or nine marks, or our midfield doing a superb job overall. We had 17 players who each racked up at least 10 possessions.

So now we're 6th. Can we keep this up and move up? On this display it should happen- our next opponents are Port, who don't seem to be the side they were over the last two seasons. The Collingwood game should be a big clash, especially if the Pies continue their winning streak. Carlton and Adelaide both should be beatable.

Sydney have been pretty shaking this season for some reason. After the lions game, i was confident that we were just like the team of 2003. But then we pulled some surprisingly close games and even losses.

So, im just not expecting much yet...

The Swans are a team that is thrilled more by the challenge of individual games rather than a full season, so we tend to pinch defeat from the jaws of victory more often than any other team... but when a "superstar" team appears on the radar, watch out!

Despite the margin at the end, i thought it was right up there with Pt adelaide final last year and '96 preliminary final in terms of effort and application. Brilliant all round effort
