He was in freakish form at the start of that season. I think we would've done much better had he not got injured.Pretty sure he kicked 6.

That was a superb game, but i also remember the next week against Geelong hirds goal in the wet from the boundary. Thats something to remember.

Yep, hence his career going downhill after the mark.
Sorry , I was referring to the title heading and when you kick five in one quarter and take what some say as the greatest mark of all time in the same quarter, I`m pretty sure he brought his own ball.

Some less well known efforts
Let's not forget Rene Kink's 1st qtr v Hawks (last few rounds of '83???). Think he kicked 4 out of our 9 or 10 for the qtr.
Remember once Tim Watson at Kardinia Park (late 70's or early 80's). Started in the middle. Was more 15 minutes than a whole qtr, where he either kicked or set up our first 5 goals. Just destroyed them.
My favourite though.....Leon Baker last qtr '84 GF....no need for explanation

Yeah that was an excellent quarter from Hille. I was there with a few mates that day, and none of us had ever been overly impressed with his efforts to that point in his career..... but from that day onwards we have referred to him as "The Difference".
