I reckon greg bentley has some talent, do you think he would make it into our 22 in the regular season?

No, has ordinary hands. If it's not put on a platter, for example a jordan russell hand pass. He fumbles too often. Is a handy back up player and that is all.

I don't really understand statements like this. If he is an ordinary player, then he will be an ordinary player regardless of how often he plays, why would we want him as a back up?

EDIT: as it is currently, I have not had the opportunity to watch him play and have not, personally, formed an opinion of his ability.

I wouldn't have thought so at this stage...

We have all been burnt by NAB Cup super stars before btw (IE Callum Chamber a few years ago) :D

His a rookie we have 8 of them,it's extended this year by 4, he won't play unless Someone does a knee or long term injury missing half the season but he has to get ahead of all the other rookies.

We have 45 players on the list including rookies .
I can't think of anyone in that list that he is ahead of , except MAYBE Hill . So player no 44 or 45 .
Don't think he will get a call up .

If we get injuries he'll be handy. He's got a good strong body and I think he reads the game ok. His speed is ok. But he hasn't got the disposal or ball handling of the players in our best 22.

He's a Datsun not a Bentley!

Has the physique of a Lance Whitnall
Has the hands of a Mark Athorn
Has the disposal of a Carrazzo

He's nowhere near our best 22 at this stage, BUT if his kicking accuracy improved by approximately 1,000% he'd be a handy player.

Some of the targets he missed by foot in the game against North were shameful (missing an unmarked Wiggo from 40 metres when Bentley was clear and kicking without any physical pressure on him springs to mind).

JR running into him didn't help. :thumbsd:
