That is cheap as chips IMO.

Hawthorn have plenty of his type and I reckon I would have happily given up 27 for Broughton and 60. Even though that would mean 60 would then be our first pick!

Maybe his career will stall at the Suns but I seriously doubt there will be 25 available players from the main draft who have a better career than Broughton.

We were robbed no doubt, I could have stomached pick 37 but why did we have to chuck in 60 as well.

We won't be using a fourth draft pick, that is why. It is meaningless to us (and I would have thought to GCS a well, but seems not).

That's what most people don't realise when they overrate draft picks. So many people have got this idea in their heads that a first round draft pick is guaranteed to be the next Fyfe, Ablett, or Dangerfield.
