This guy has got to be the worst batsman in first class cricket. Every single time he bats he makes some medoicre score in between 10-30. He has been given so many chances but never takes them. Mind you, opening the batting isn't an easy gig.....but he batted at 6 today and made 10.

He has a terrible, negative technique and is boring to watch.

Why hes still in the state side is questionable seeing that his grade performances have been average. IMO he's taking the spot of future prospects such as Tom Cooper.

He's made quite a few runs the last couple of rounds for Sydney Uni. Aaron O'Brien's inability to take his chances at No. 5 has probably given Mail the chance.

he was single handedly responsible for the 3 leaves and youre out rule at lunchtime cricket - seemed to think the 30minute tonk at lunch was a chance to "build" an innings.

"Snail" would be a better nickname. Handy in the sense he can bowl a bit, keep wicket, is good in the field, and solid in defense, but if you are "fortunate" enough to watch him make 50 you'll probably want that 5 hours of your life back.
