Grey/Silver

Going onto the online Freo store to buy my new 2012 merchandise... I was interested to see that on most if not all the supporter wear etc. (apart from the guernseys) that silver/grey/call it what you will - is on almost everything.

Is this a sign that eventually they will adopt this as a new colour? i.e. Silver away/preseason guernsey?

This sort of thing is not without precedence - notice the last season of the "original" home guernsey took off the green/red panels on the back - making it more purple, and lo-and-behold we have a primarily purple home strip nowadays, which I love don't get me wrong.

Does anyone else think they will morph to utilising silver/grey on guernseys or is it just to break up the purple and white for apparel?

I wouldn't read anything into it. It's hard to make attractive street wear in purple and white.
