I've always been a fan of adventure games going back to maniac mansion, the kings quest series, under a killing moon, DoTT etc but Grim Fandango passed me by on release likely due to Half Life and Counter Strike

However a month or so ago on a mates recommendation i found myself a copy and started chipping away with the limited spare time i have and finally finished tonight.

I always knew that Grim was always held in high esteem but nothing could prepare me for just how superb this game is. The story, music and dialogue is just astonishing, even the graphics still look fantastic and the puzzles while challenging are not overly cryptic and unfair and i only found myself going to a walkthrough guide once.

I'm looking forward to setting some time aside over the next couple of weekends to have another playthrough to experience the story more succinctly which will tell if i need to find some room in my all time top 10 for this beauty

If you haven't played this one before and your a fan of the genre get yourself a copy
