where could i find this stuff? Does it have another name or is it just known as "Grip-O"?

Try your local sports store. Be aware the stuff stinks like anything.

Its a lawn bowls polish or something like that, used on their fingers too. Good stuff. Sportsco or someone like that would likely stock it. Local bowls club would definitely have it.

y would ya bother, u only get one use of it but if ya go down early u end up wif all grass stuck to ya hand

I've used it before and don't like it. Now I just rub my hands on the grass and then rub them together. Wilgrip makes the ball hard to handball, plus it's sort of cheating.

Well not quite, because boots are standard uniform that everyone wears.
But you are right, it is a bit like saying that wearing a glove is cheating, or panadol is performance enhancing because you can get rid of a headache, and thus enhance your performance.

I wouldn't bother with the stuff anyway, personally I think the stuff is crap. Hasn't helped me, if anything, it makes things more slippery.

Panadol is performace enabling, it doesn't make you perform any better than you normally would.
