Ok guys,

Its my turn for a shot. I will log on later on friday night and give the answer then. Sorry if its not that good, but i will try.

Playing in the WAPL on Monday, on the 1st table, one of the 1st hands of the tourney, the blinds are 25-50, i'm 2nd to act after the blinds. I look down and see K-2 both diamonds, i decide to raise to 200 and see if i can buy the pot. Everyone else folds except the lady next to me on the left, who calls.

Flop is 4d-Ad-6c. I'm acting 1st, so i check on the nut flush draw, she checks. Turn is: 10h, i put out a feeler bet of 200, she calls. River: 8d, so i made my nut flush, i bet 500, she calls.....

What does she have? I never put her on what she had either.....

yeah it has to be don't it. he was thinking she had nothing when she actually had something all along. she smooth called pre-flop, casually checked the flop and smooth called on 4th and 5th, confident she had him and was just stringing him along, when in fact she'd made the ride too cheap.

Spot on guys,

i couldn't believe she had pocket rockets, and it only cost me 200 (the size of my raise) to the river

much too cheap, had she bet big, i might have thrown them out, but i caught the river cheap, and it worked out for me this time

Agreed. Its fine to slow the pot after the flop but after the turn with a flush draw she should have been all over it.
