Has anyone got any recommendations about where I should have my 18th? I'll be living in Melbourne by then, and I want to have two separate parties: one here, and one for my friends in Melbourne. Since I'm not sure of good venues, I've asked a few people who suggested Crown. Is this a good idea, or are there other good places to check out?

Every time you see someone you know, you have known them for longer (and presumably you know them better) than you did last time you saw them. That always freaks me out.

On a footy-based forum, it distresses me that I have to explain. It's a reference to the great Jack Dyer's comment about Kevin Bartlett, I think during the 1980 Grand Final after turning Magro on a sixpence and kicking one of his 7 goals:
"There goes Bartlett, he's older than he's ever been..."

Haha. Organised? Hell no. I'll probably just crash my mate's party (b'day day before mine) and claim it as my own. AFAIK she's organised something at a footy club ... I'll probably mention this about a fortnight beforehand.
