Guitar Hero 3 PC

Well the Guitar Hero franchise will be bringing out Guitar Hero 3 for PC. It comes out April 16th and looks like it will be a flop.

The price is around $108 - $112 it just depends were you get it.

Anyone think this will be a flop?

Oh yeah my bad. It should be out then. Yes it comes with a guitar(wireless I think and if it is wireless you might need to go out and get a bluetooth adapter).

It has a wired guitar and came out yesterday (Friday)

Weird decision. I read about this a little while back. I've seen other more PC friendly games not come to the PC yet this does. Guitar Hero gets very boring if playing on your own. It's a party game and who has a party in the study cramped around a computer?

It has the same engine as the 360 and PS3 versions (as compared to the Wii and PS2 engines with inferior graphics) but reportedly lags like a bitch which makes a rhythm game almost impossible.

I doubt it will do well at all.

Does it have online? That would be a major thing if it was missing.

I think it does but that's useless unless you have plenty of Aussies to play against lag-free and I doubt you'd get that.

Yes but on the other Guitar Hero 3 games it's a pretty big thing with online.

The best thing would be customisation, i.e. creating your own song but even that isn't really offered on the game and would have to be developed by others.

It's been out since October last year (pc) in America and Europe.

It's not a very good port, even with a high end pc you still get lag - even when not playing online.

One of the main things that causes it to lag up (even when playing single player) is the online component, you have to disconnect yourself from the internet and it should run relatively fine with minimal lag.

It's coming out on DS too. With some sort of overlay for the 5 buttons and a guitar pick.
