I’m interested (and quite keen, really), to see Jack Gunston get back to his sharp-shooting best. I suspect with the heavy ground covering load he now has (as opposed to remaining forward) has affected his accuracy in front of goal. The guy was an incredibly reliable shot on goal prior to 2017. Such a smart footballer that I feel like we’re not seeing enough of in his current role.

Its gotta depend on what benefits the team most.

We're probably another year or so away from having reliable transition from HB to HF without him getting up there to assist.

Like you, I love seeing him play HFF (or CHF), but I'd rather see him retire with 5-6 Premiership Medals & if that means he spends 60% of his time running the wings then so be it.

I know what you're saying though & I agree that personally (for him), he's better as a 3-goal a week HF.

Very impressive coaching from hardwick. His got his team playing to its strenghts, knee exactly how We were going to play. We missed Sicily and burgoyne today. There's not enough creative guys in our half back line.

Thought Gunners was absolutely fantastic at half back last year and the team looked pretty good with Gunstan and Sicily on the half back line. Jack looked very composed down back. Both potentailly AA there. Worth more as a forward kicking 50+ for us though.

Need to get back to Roughy, Gunstall and Breust kicking 50+ please

I thought it was more our coaching failures than their coaching successes. Combined with some really poor disposal execution from our boys.

The Tigers played exactly the way they do. Lots of smalls and lost of keepings off.

We picked the wrong team, having too many tall defenders, not enough mids and an out of form Will Langford. Swap Brand and Langers for Glass and Cousins and expect the result may have been different.

In addition, our bombing it long to the area Rance was controlling was as stupid as doing it to Harry Taylor in year's past.

I definitely think the scoreline flattered us.

If we had too many tall defenders why did Gunston spend so much time there ???
