just wondering what you guys think of him as i havent seen many williamstown matches this year.

laidley has stated that north will be after another ruckman to support porter with spider retiring. and with north using only 92.5% of the salary cap, we will be looking for a cheap option and i thought richards might be considered.

laidley would have seen a bit of him during his time at collingwood and may be a fan of his.
in fact, i think north were keen or drafting him but went for petrie instead.

is he likely to remain on the list?? and why hasnt he gotta game yet??

Haven't seen much of Willy either, but I like what I've heard. We aren't exactly overflowing with ruckmen, so I think he'll be on the list next year. He did lose a year with a serious injury, partly why he hasn't debuted yet. Supposed to be a great tap ruckman, average/ok around the ground.

He is brilliant , best player at the pies outside of the senior team. A champion in the making. Great skills etc etc.

On that basis we will do a straight swap for him and Wells (and I think you would be getting the better end of the deal).
Quick take it before someone else does.
Oh BTW we will throw in Kinnear.

as tempting as that does sound  i think we may just hold on to our future superstar...but realistically, what would you want for richards?? 3rd round pick be enough??

mckee has runs on the board whilst richards hasnt got a look-in after 3 years on the list. i can see where you are coming from, but if i was collingwood i would be holding onto mckee if it came down to mckee v richards.

whisky mackay, our 3rd round pick is likely to be 41, will that do for richards?? i will forward your reply onto laidley and we can start negotiations.;)

Umm ............. 41 .............. OK then, done deal but only if you take Kinnear as well (and we have a policy of NO RETURNS).

just found out that if everything stays the same it will be in fact 40, yes 40. therefore i will let you keep kinnear and as you really wanted 35, we will throw in shane clayton too!!

conditions apply, for a limited time only

HAHAHA guy richards was a long term project, knowing he has everything to be a great ruckman, it was just his weight that kept him back, he can go forwrd too. cole wont go anywhere, and 3rd round pick, i think you should watch a game with the pies in it.

exactly, which is why i dont think we should trade him, after another preseason i think he'll be just about ready to come into ourline up

he's alot more handy player then mckee as like you said he can also go forward so he'll be the perfect Ruck swapping with CHF combo with Josh in a couple of years
