I've already listed height and age. I don't know their weight, I don't think they really publish it.

Luke Blackwell- Inside Midfielder: A ball magnet who really stood out during the pre-season. Excellent skills and should play seniors at some point this year.

Chris Bryan- Ruckman: A former VFL ruckman, who can go forward and kick goals. Will probably be given a chance at some point this year but struggled during the wizard cup. At 23 is a very mature draftee.

Adam Hartlett- Tall key position defender/forward: A massive kick with alot of talent. Was one of two players mentioned by Fev as youngsters to watch this year.

Anthony Raso- Key position forward/defender: A low age draftee at 17 who was picked up with the last pick of the draft last year in the expectation that he'd go much higher in next years draft. Will be given a year off to play with his school team before joining the list full time next year.

Jordan Russell- Midfielder: Fast athletic midfielder with a questionable kicking style. A first round pick that will be expected to debut sometime this year.

Aisake O'hailpin- ???: Could be anything or could be nothing. Given his height he'll probably end up as a ruckman. Great coordination for such a tall player but needs some time to learn how to play the game.

Daniel Batson- Ruckman: Don't know much about him really.

Jesse D Smith- Midfielder: Heard good things. Other than Setanta he is the most likely Rookie to be promoted this year

Sam Pleming- Tall Forward: 2nd year Rookie who will need to have a big year if he's going to be promoted by the end of the year.

Nick Becker- Midfielder: A suicidal midfielder who will just throw himself on the ball no matter what the circumstances are. Since Pagan loves that in a player Becker should be right at home.

just wondering if when you have updated for footy fanatic, whether or not you get an error 3050 or something like that when you complete the first round of a new season with the new blues list?

i have had a heap of trouble with it and its really getting to me.

Here you go champ:

Luke Blackwell- Luke is a small inside midfielder who is the son of Wayne Blackwell who played 110 games for Carlton. Luke was named ruck rover in the colts team of the year where he regularly nothched up possesion after possesion. Luke's strong form resulted in promotion to WAFL reserves where he continued to dominate. Towards the end of the season Luke Broke into the swan districts senior team and was BOG in the preliminary final. Expect Blackwell to brake into the AFL early next season. Luke also rarely fumbles a ball and can pinpoint passes on both feet. A big query of mine is that he seems to want to look good on the stat sheet. You will regularly see him so one-twos and receive backwards passes.

Chris Bryan was pick 73 in this years draft. He is a ruckman from Frankston in the VFL and originally played TAC cup for Sandringham. Chris’s tapwork isn't that great but he can push forward and kick goals. Seems like a ready made player.

Adam Hartlett- Versatile genuine key position player who i think is a really good get. Depending on how Livo goes at FB Hartlett may be groomed to take over that area in a few years. Won't play much senior footy next year. A signature of his game is the way that he can roost the football a long way.

Anthony Raso-Anthony is a 17 year old who will not play VFL next year and will play school footy. Anthony will need to bulk up a lot and should be played both forward and back for his school. His speed is great but his endurance isn’t which is shown by his beep test of 11.3.

Jordan Russel-Jordan is a very quick midfielder with very good foot skills. Jordan will need to develop his game more on getting his own ball if he is to become an elite player at this level. Jordan will break into the senior team and should be aiming for a double figure amount of games. Taken a little high for my liking.

Setanta o’hailpin- Setanta played both forward and back in the VFL in 2004. Setanta looked good in the forward line and his best game was 7 goals against Williamstown. Setanta is a remarkably good athlete for someone 6’6. At training he’s been doing a lot of ruckwork so maybe this is his position in 2005. Setanta will play senior football next season and should be in the wizard cup lineup.

Jesse Smith-Don’t be surprised to see him play AFL football next year as he is preety much ready for senior football. Jesse is a strongly built midfielder who gathers a lot of the ball. Smith however may stunt Blackwell’s development with Smith and Bentick likely to start in the center square for the bullants. Had a great Grand Final.

Nick Becker- Nick is very much a ball magnet and has preety good foot skills. With Simpson in the VFL side it will be tough for Becker to land a permanent spot in the midfield. Like Smith had a great grand final.
2005 position-midfield

Sam Pleming- Sam is a developing KPP who spent the season in the VFL and played Bullants reserves as well. Sam plays well one on one but doesn’t really dominate his opponent. At this stage not up to AFL level.
