Does anyone know why he wasn't put on the senior list ahead of Fanning after all I reckon he would be in our best 22 off half back, yet Fanning would be lucky to make willy A's he needs alot more improvement IMO.

Fanning had to be promoted or delisted because he had been on the rookie list for 2 years. O'Brien had only been on for 1 year and Davies was picked ahead of him. Also comes down to list size. O'Brien isnt in the best 22 regardless, he would only come in if we had injuries.

I think we would of promoted Fanning regardless because we don't have many ruckmen, but we have enough small/mid defenders.
