Funny little article in my local paper.
Good little laugh, especially as it is off-season for us at the moment.
Horsham's biggest footy export Bryan "Strauchanie" Strauchan might have the answer to finding his old Wimmera club a challenge.
Strauchanie was taken by Collingwood with the last pick in the 2004 national draft after a stellar career with the Horsham reserves.
Agreed he can't get a game with the Magpies, Strauchanie launched a bid on Channel Ten's Before the Gae=me last Saturday to lead a new Horsham-based AFL team called H19.
Strauchanie called for H19 to follow in Gold Coast GC17 and West Sydney into the AFL in a one-on-one meeting with league cheif executive Andrew
Demmetriou.
He said the 'Horsham Strauchanies' would wear a flashy yellow, red and blue jumper.
He told Demetriou that Michael Voss would coach the team but when he summonsed him into the room it was Michael's younger brother, Brett.
Strauchanie was born in Horsham in 1984
Good little laugh, especially as it is off-season for us at the moment.
