Me. Fantastic game. My GOTY and I haven't even beat the final boss yet haha. Have lost to them twice :(
Great game to pick up and play on the switch that turns into a 3 hour session haha.
How does it run on the Switch, alright?

From what I've read online the only downside is that it's a little blurry and text can be a little harder to read.
But the upside is that it holds a solid frame-rate throughout and still looks fine.

I have it on PC, so can't speak personally.

Dead cells always felt like i'd have a build that felt strong, not feeling it as much with this but i'm getting there. Some weapons feel sh*t (Railgun i'm looking at you)

What's everyone's favourite weapon?

Played a bit tonight and am now up to 7 completed runs and it's just ridiculously easy, obviously with these games you can crank up the difficulty, but I just wanted to win with each weapon.
I was clearing rooms in seconds, did a run in under 25min, one-shotting everything.
The AOE of the rail-gun was doing 1000+ damage to everyone, so ridiculous haha.

So you definitely get that OP feeling of Dead Cells in this, just need to get the right upgrades.

The difficulty settings are really cool, tried a few out and does make a bit of a difference, plenty of incentive to really push the limits as well.

Cannot stop coming back to this game for another run.

Got my first win on run 24 with the fists. I reckon I could have done it 4 or 5 tries earlier but I was giving other weapons a go. Athena's boon for attack and dash adding deflect and damage, plus a Hermes boon for speed and sturdy just made me wreck shop.

Such a good game.

Managed to get credits to roll the other night at last, so cool the way the story keeps growing.

Still going back to it though, love that there's always a reason to do another run.

Is this better than Dead Cells?

The gameplay will come down to taste, they are both very good.

There are some areas where Hades is clearly ahead - Characters, Story and the downtime outside of a run.
The core gameplay itself is subjective, initially I thought Dead Cells was still better, but the more I play the more I think it's pretty much the even, despite them being different.
Both have awesome visual design and brilliant music as well - both subjective.

Overall I'd say Hades is better because of everything else it adds.

This is an incredible game. It's so well-crafted. This is the first roguelike I've been able to get into, and I'm thoroughly addicted.

I beat the last boss for the first time last night, and then again immediately after. I was running the fists for a while, but went back to the sword with much better results. Really enjoying the crit build with it.

Word of warning do not
"Borrow" money from Charon

Just had my 16 win streak ended because I thought I'd see what would happen, not worth it!

Finally getting right into this. Lost to the first boss 3 times now. I'm upgrading what I can so not sure if I'm doing anything else wrong.

Using the trident at the moment.

Loving the game has to be said.

Not sure how much people care about the game awards but was nominated for game of the year among a lot of big studio titles. Impressive effort. And a heap of other awards too.

I've got a little better since my last post and even more obsessed. There is so much to unpack and do here. What a game.

Xbox and PS versions are coming August the 13th.

Its $40 on PSN and its coming out on game pass for xbox.

I'm going to buy it again, as my pc is really old so I can't wait to see it on the PS5.

It's already available to be installed through Gamepass. 8gb on Series X. I've already bought this game 3 times and I would have again for Xbox, so I'm glad it's on Gamepass.

Played about an hour last night, just got in the frame of mind to welcome death, and working on runs to strengthen which is what the game is all about.

It’s very addicting, just want to keep going back in 😂

It’s a very satisfying loop, especially when you start blowing past that first area barely getting hit!
