I'm not worried.
More than likely he was just being rested. We need to really be careful with him through the preseason so we don't see his body fail him yet again.
Resting him also gave a chance to the likes of Bentley, Joseph and even Robbo to show us what they have to offer us in the long term.

bentley looked a good size.
