Just thought I'd mention this guy who was on our rookie list last year and is still only 20 years of age. He is averaging 28 disposals this year for Souths in the league team and has been burning,he kicked 4 goals today against EF. I reckon we should try and get him again, is a solid little player and maybe we have been too hasty dropping him.

Back on topic - taggers often take a bit longer ....he'd be wort a re-rookie listing if he can keep showing form.

trying too hard now bovine one. although it is anzac day so pay that.

Trying too hard.....are you talking to me or our forward flankers? ....oh I guess it's me.

Yeh have noticed how good he is now we delisted him.

And on a similar note Andrew Foster has developed into a very good player in the years since we delisted him as well.

I can't imagine the club would ever say no to re-listing such guys if they thought they had developed enough.

Difference being Foster was 24 when we delisted him. Schloithe.....well I don't really know why we got rid of him. He was always a reasonable WAFL performer.

Finished last year with pretty similar figures. In his last six games of 2013 he averaged over 25 touches, 1 goal and 4 tackles a game.

Haven't seen enough of him to make a call. For those who have seen him can anyone tell me how he was able to receive 16 free kicks in the last two weeks? Seems to be a bit of a correlation between tackles and free kicks, so they could be HTB.

Freo can't simply just relist him.. He has probably attracted the attention of the other 17 clubs. Not sure why we didnt keep him on a bit longer. Showed a bit last year.

Won't be redrafted. Shit what is wrong with you people? There are plenty of players who run around in state leagues and regularly pick up stacks of possies. Why don't they get picked up? Because they're lacking in areas other than finding the footy. Height, strength, defensive run etc. etc. (and please, don't say it. Barlow is the exception that proves the rule. For every Barlow there are 20 Kyal Horsley's. Dominant at WAFL level, averaged 25 touches in a season and finished second in a Sandover; mediocre AFL player in a weak expansion team, desisted after 2 seasons.)

I thought it was more, we had plenty of his type of player and still do.

These were blokes who were passed over by AFL clubs then thrived once in them.

It's exceedingly rare for a player being drafted into the AFL and then delisted to be drafted again and succeed. Podsiadly the only one I can think of.
