Well I can confirm it still happens because my crew of Auskickers just got a birth for the Freo vs. Port game on July 15.
I'm so pumped for the kids and we are the only centre in the mid-west (WA region) to get a look in. In these small towns they miss out on a lot so this is perfect. They get to showcase their wicked team play and skills.
