Don't know if this was on the show tonight as I haven't been watching recently, but next weeks show will be filmed from Bendigo in an effort to help out the Bendigo Diggers. They will also be playing here in the lead up game agains't Brooklyn before the Diggers play (get thrashed) by Port Melbourne on June 30.
Good to hear that they are trying to help out the Diggers with hopefully getting a few people through the gate which they sure do need.

The grand final for the Western Region Football League might be played at Colonial. Any opinions on this?

Sounds like they're getting a bit too confident in theselves. Talking Grand Finals already are they? Not even Brisbane are that supremely confident.

Interesting how a Western League team with a TV show about them is faring a whole deal better than a VFL team.

Maybe one of the other channels can start a show to assist some of those teams in trouble of going broke, instead of starting their own team??

I think if they play it at Colonial the crowd will be no more than about 10-11,000 at the most.

I do watch the show, but I disagree with the statement "Real Footy" as this isn't a team that has worked it's way through years of work, and it's supporters haven't been through the ups and downs.

In a decade or two, and these supporters are still following the team, then I might consider "the Hammerheads" as a genuine team, but I feel they are overhyped.

They do have some talent, eg Bucky, but so would every team in the WRFL if they had "footy auditions"

Just a question, does this show run next year, or is yet another team created?

And kicking players out midseason, now that is a joke. You can let players retire, but kicking em out is pointless and would create a riff between the players and the CEO.

Also, playign the GF at Colonial is stupid. It's a LOCAL footy league. Play it at a LOCAL ground, with a canteen, kids grabbing footy behind the goals, crowd "disagreements" and the crowd having a kick at the breaks.
