Its taken until round 15 for the match committee to work out that Hampson is a back up ruck and nothing else..... and even that he struggle with.

The decision to waste a second round pick on a back up ruck has set this club back a year in its development. Right now we could be developing a kid for the future.

Hindsight you may say... Well it was pretty clear from Ratten and then Malthouse that Hamspon wasnt a best 22 player. The arrogance our club showed in the off season had a smell of spud Frawley about it.

Now lets hope the club starts making players earn the right to wear the jumper. We can only wish.

We were lining up at the door on opening day of trade week to get this trade done. We didn't even have a crack at going for a younger option. Just reeks of knee jerk, gung-ho, arrogance and the penny still hasn't dropped. He will cruise around the VFL and get half as many hit outs as Orren has been racking up and be back next week.

2 years? yer you are probably right. That off season was disastrous losing two players that can kick goals and have pace to break the lines and not replacing them ... added with Tuck retiring and then topping it off trading for Hampson and not adding a quality kid. ....

This is the part now where Hampson goes to the VFL and dominates some kid in the ruck and clunks a few marks and kicks a few goals only to be promoted in a weeks time and totally play just as shit as he has done all year in the seniors.

This happened at Carlton for 6 years. They need to delist him now because Hardwick is too stupid and is going to fall for this for another 2 years.

Vickery , Hampson , Maric , Griffith and Elton have all done rucking in some form this year . I'd suggest that is more than enough .
