Why was Fevola wearing Collingwood socks, because he wants to come to the greatest club of all. Carlton should help him deliver his dream.

Give us picks one and four from nexts years draft and we'll think about it.

I'm a one-eyed Carlton supporter and this is ridiculous. You are obviously basing this on potential. The way Fev is playing we could get an early pick and a fringe player at best.

Potential is everything is football. If Croad got a Number 1 pick for Hawthorn Fev should get a hell of alot more, especailly considering his marketing potential. He'll sell 1000 memberships by himself just by being there.

Picks 1 and 4.

Or Picks 4, another top 10 pick and Jason Cloke.

You might have a point but most clubs these days are very reluctant to give up any picks in the top 10 and you're saying 2 picks before pick 5 (where talking the cream of young talent in the country) for a player who has proven himself to be inconsistent and undisciplined. It would never happen!

Maybe not, I was actually joking when I first said it because of the Collingwood troll but my second option is probably what I'd expect in reality. Maybe even pick 1, another top 10 pick and Jason Cloke.

I hope gandaal your not implying that we would ever consider taking Jason Cloke. I don't care how many problems we have down back.

Jason Cloke gets a bad rap. Collingwood fans seems to be blame him, and Rhyce Shaw, for everything bad that's happened to them. You wouldn't put Jason on a Gehrig or a Pavlich like Malthouse seems to do every time he plays for Collingwood (and they wonder why he fails?) but as a third or even fourth tall in our forwardline behind Thornton, Livingston and possibly Teague I think he'd do a great job. He trashed Hamill when Collingwood played St Kilda and if he could do the same job for us on a reguar basis he'd be a far superior option to either Morrell or Norman. He's also a rebounding defender who sets up plays so he could do that job if needed while at the same time having the height to compete in contests. There's alot of upside to jason Cloke if we can just get him into a positive environment. Look at what happened to Scotland if you want an example. He's very young too so if we can get him to beef himself up we could turn him into potentially the next Mal Michaels.

It's not picking up the Dal Santo's or the Johnathon Browns during trades that make your club contenders (the opportunity to do that happens very rarely) but it's the minor players you pick up who you turn into good or even great players that makes a side a premiership contender.

you had me for a bit, now you're stretching it. ;)
Mal Michaels as in a decent sized defender who left Collingwood to become a very good defender at another club, not becoming Mal Michaels the best full back in the league.

But then who knows? With another ten kilos of muscle he could become one of the best full backs in the league. Even if he doesn't he could still be a very handy pickup.

greatest club of all? losing 2 GF's in a row makes you great now?
Typical collingwood mentality. They think they can get what ever they want.

You's are all just jealous.
as for fevola, his coming to collingwood get used to it...he would of signed already if he was dead set at staying at carlton
Enough said?

The only question I would like to know was why he had Collingwood socks on.

"You's"?
What a stupid comment. It is still early in the year. If it was august and he hadn't signed, then maybe it would be strange. And why would he want to go to collingwood??

******** off you loser

Collingwoods hope is not to give up ANY draft picks and to try and push Fev into the preseason draft and throw money at him. They will NOT give up picks 1 AND 4 or in fact either of them.

A team like the bulldogs has more chance of signing him. Grant on Veterans, West or Johnson have to be close. If they can pay the full cap they could give up a speedy not so great midfielder and maybe a pick 7 or so for Fev. But he wont leave Carlton anyway. He should though. No offence but Carlton are still MANY years off from being a real force in the league. I think you will go backwards again before you go forwards.

Fev always seems to play well the week after we get a flogging. I think and hope Fev he will kick a bag this week. He is going to get his form up over the second half of the season and I hope he stays loyal to the mighty blues.
