Looking to get some handwarmers for the cricket season seeing that I'll be playing at 8:30am in games this summer. Previous seasons it's been a bitch to field, mainly because my hands are so cold. This also makes my fingers so stiff and it's real hard to spin the ball and land it properly.

Just wondering how they worked and where abouts in Melbourne (Around Frankston area) I can buy some. What is the price aswell.

Thanks.

Sounds like you need a pair of these:

Seriously though... if it's a big issue, grab some glove warmers from a ski store. They're reusable gel packs that you 'charge' by heating in the microwave and activate by 'cracking' an activator inside them. They're designed to wear inside the palms of ski gloves, but you could put one in each pocket and thaw out your hands between balls. Can't remember what they cost but I think they're relatively moderately priced.

Not sure if I'd go to the trouble myself...
