Is 19 today.

I'm on this fellas' bandwagon big-time. Could become one of the greats.

Collingwood Football Club, give him a birthday present he'll never forget, elevation to the senior list.

Well after a BOG in his 1st Senior Game at VFL Level I would not complain if he was Promoted

i think this kid could be a gem. he is brilliant at getting the hard ball and has been likened to a robert harvey. i really hope he gets promoted soon.

is their a chance that he can get promoted as a result of ben johnson's injury???

Not much pressure then for a rookie listed footballing-midget.

I hope you're right, but let's not get too carried away.

Only if the club feels it will be at least 8 weeks until Ben is ready to play AFL again. I would say it would be unlikely that we would promote someone in place of Johnson.

However, he would be a chance to get promoted at the round 11 rookie promotion opportunity.

Isn't it more likely that he was compared to Brent Harvey rather than Robert Harvey?

I don't think we will put Johnson on the LTI but I would think if Blair continues the form he showed on the weekend he would be the favourite to take the nominated rookie position at Round 11.

Wow, one game and now he is going to be a superstar haha, relax!

From what i've seen of him on tape, he is a gun and if he was 10 cm taller he would've been top 30 pick, remember he did win the B&F if the TAC Cup last year.
But if you're good enough you're tall enough, and i think he can make it.

BTW i read on Sunday that Geoff Walsh and the team were seriously contemplating a rookie elavation to cover the injury of BJ

definitly. lol u would think he is more like brent but he was described as being more like robert, in that he wasn't super quick, and he wasn't a huge kick or overly skillfull player, however he is tough, couragous and he gets his own footy. regardless of his height, if he can find the footy and fish it out to the likes of pendlebury, beams and sidebottom we are laughing. he could be a vital piece to the puzzle. lets hope he can make the bigtime ;)

One of the greats? I agree this place has been a tad over the top negative lately, but gee, i'm not sure i want this either!
From the games i've seen he's looked okay, but hasn't really screamed afl potential. Although all reports say he was great on saturday so its good to see him settling in so soon. If he makes it to the seniors he'll become an instant crowd favorite. Happy birthday and good luck!
