Sheedy was a champion coach, but we need to look elsewhere. He would try and take us to the finals, like Wallace did in 2005 and 2006, which is not what we should do. We need to cut through at least half the list.

i thought we already had in recent yrs...within 12mths or more 4 of our over 30s will be long gone...it's developing what we have that concerns me more

Some of 30 year old's should already been gone and are just holding onto former glory. A hard coach wouldn't be afraid to let them go or say your time is up mate, you're holding out a youngster. We should be playing much more younger players each week like the rest of the competition. Look at this round for example, nearly every team had more debutants than us and it payed off because of their fresh, enthused attitudes. List wise that is where we are at with the core of the team not even hitting peak age yet. Also what Beaver meant is we do have to cut a lot of the list not only because of the old guys but some of the youngsters are just not good enough and should be long gone so we can gain more talented ones to fill our holes.

what 30 yo do u speak of partner as most of them were pretty prominent in top 10 of last yrs B&F...Name one that didnt perform so well and shouldn't have continued into 2009..Nowq come the end of this season it will be another story however the case to give these fellas the tiwana following LY was hardly a compelling one

It's time to turn the RFC into a no BS football club that demands respect. Not one that burns talent, burns members and is underated by the rest of the AFL due to a sustained culture of selfishness.

Keven Sheedy cannot be appointed as the next coach. He left Essendon in pretty poor shape. Let him do the spruiking and work on his supercoach team. Times have changed.
