How about we win 10 games instead of waste another season to pick up another good player.![]()

Eligible next year, he is a massive unit - 198cm 96kg last check. Plays mainly as a second ruck for his seniors team, but hopefully would be able to be developed into a key foward.
He is a bit unco and his skills are so-so, but he is built like hercules and doesn't have chicken legs. I would say that we would have to at least rookie him next year - our big man stocks are looking much better with the addition of younters Gourdis, Putt and Rance.
It would be interesting if Natatui is still around at our pick next year considering that we have Putt, Graham, Pattison all as young ruckman. Plus the potential addition of Lee PLUS Simmonds and Cartlege on the rookie list

Michael Rix...
"Pure ruckmen" or "tap ruckmen" like Jolly or Seaby tend to be second ruckmen who spend most of their time on the bench or occassionally sitting in a forward pocket. I think you are in for a disappointment if you think we are going to recruit one of those types while Wallace is around. I don't think the Knobel experiment will be repeated.i think we need a early selection for a ruckman next year - a PURE ruckman.not getting selection one this season may be a blessing - as i think Kruezer will be a gun, but not the answer to the dominant "tap ruckman" we need. pattison is the great 2nd ruckman which can work it around the ground - we need a top tap ruckman next year
I think Putt is gonna be used at Full forward - long term.
To answer a few of your questions... from what I've he's a solid player who would have to be treated like an Angus Graham in the fact that he is still pretty raw. However, he has size going for him which, on our list, is half the trouble developing.
He is a player who has no real standout features, but also no real stand out disadvantages other then probably his no preffered kicking.

thats a worry, sounds like a lug, at least a Patto has a good sense for reading the play and knocking plenty of possies.....any player that gets listed needs to have something other than physical dimensions going for them![]()
Like i said, being he is going to need a bit of ironing out, and he will be a long term project player - similar to Angus Graham now. However, his basketball background and the fact he is a haulk of a boy suggest that he could potentially be fastracked
I wouldn't say he's a gun. His hitout figures are skewed by the amount of stoppages the Swans game plan creates.Jolly is a tap ruckman...and hes a gun.
